Mar 27, 2014 This is a review of Quarq power meters which I’ve been using for the past six months. I bought the model Quarq Elsa. It weighs 735g. It was 85 grams lighter than the cheaper Riken model. The Riken has non hollow crank arms and a heavier spider. The Quarq Elsa cost me around £1,500 from local bike shop. Regardless of what the manual says, the 11mm spacers goes on the drive side because the quarq bb30 spindle is 11mm longer than a normal bb30 spindle and you need that clearance to not hit things, like your chain catcher, chainstays with small ring, etc.
